Full Moon Magic
Satiation, Surge, and Magic at Maximum Volume
“Think magnifying glass under noon sun. The Full Moon doesn’t hint—she scorches.”
The Tone of the Full Moon
Ugh, must we? Here’s my honest truth: I “hate that bitch.” Grins. Not truly hate—but close enough. The Full Moon is a lot. She’s dazzling, dramatic, and loud. And yet… when you learn to ride that current, she’ll carry you farther than any other phase.
Think of the feeling after a perfectly satisfying meal. Not stuffed, not hungry—just right. That’s the Full Moon at her best: satiation. She sustains, completes, and rounds things out so your work actually holds. This is the time to go for gold—manifestations that need maximum power, divination that needs crystal clarity, love that deserves celebration, and workings that fuse everything you’ve set in motion since the New Moon.
The energy is potent, bright, and highly responsive. Treat it with respect and focus, or she’ll amplify your chaos as easily as your craft.
Colors: white, silver, electric blue, opalescent tones
Crystals: clear quartz, selenite, moonstone, diamond (if accessible)
Love & Relationships
The Full Moon is celebration. Honor what you have; appreciate what you’ve built; charge it under the brightest light.
Working — List of Love (For self, partner, or future beloved):
Take a piece of red or pink paper.
Write a list of what you love:
Yourself (if solo/self-love),
Your partner (if partnered), or
The qualities of the person you’re calling in (if seeking).
Pour your heart into it. Feel the fullness of love as a living current moving through you.
Charge it in the Full Moon with a rose quartz sitting on top.
Keep it on your love altar or with you. When you hit a rough patch (or need to remember your worth), read it aloud and feel it again.
This night is also ripe for dreamwork and glamour—anything that benefits from visibility and emotional luminosity.
Wealth / Abundance / Prosperity
Full Moons are for grander-scale magic. The current is overflowing—perfect for grids, conjurations, success launches, and “now or never” moves.
Spell — “Bring Me That Money, Honey!” (Full-Moon Prosperity Grid)
You’ll need:
1 black candle (banish scarcity)
1 white candle (purify channel)
1 green candle (draw wealth)
4 citrine points
1 large clear quartz point (center amplifier)
Diamonds (optional, for intensity)
Gold (optional, for solar richness)
A photo of yourself
Gold or silver pen
Do your normal altar set-up. Then:
Load the candles. Hold each at your heart. Pour in your desire for lasting abundance (only in your highest and best). Charge each candle with Full Moon power—either outdoors under the light or by drawing the current down at your altar.
Enchant your photo. On your picture, write affirmations, sigils, and specifics: desired role, pay, responsibilities, upgraded lifestyle. Press it to your heart and live the scene in your mind—how you act, who you are when this is real.
Build the grid. Place the photo in the center. Lay the clear quartz on top (your amplifier). Position the four citrine points around to form a square/circle around the center.
Link the lines. Call moonfire into each citrine, then beam it into the clear quartz, moving citrine → center → next citrine, until they’re all linked. Then trace the outer circle (citrine to citrine) clockwise, sealing the circuit.
Lift and launch. When you feel the build, raise your hands, push the power upward, and fling that intention out into the hungry night.
Support candles. Arrange black / white / green around the grid and light them one by one to feed the working.
Optional: Diamonds supercharge manifestation; gold calls in solar wealth and authority. Add if accessible.
Protection
The Full Moon is a luminous bug-zapper: irresistibly bright to nasties—and then zap. Use it to set active-deterence wards that stun or scatter threats.
Working — “Ring of Zap”
Find a ring you naturally read as protective.
Under direct Full Moon light, speak with the Moon and request charged currents to arc through the ring as a deterrent.
Pull moonlight down your arms and into the ring until it hums.
Enchant: “Enemies see only light—then leave. Harm sees only shimmer—then scatters.”
Refresh each Full Moon to keep the charge peaking.
Wear it when you’ll be in crowds, tricky spaces, or around unreliable people.
Healing
Full Moon healing is system-wide—think whole-body harmonization, flow, and replenishment.
Two approaches:
Healing Massage: Call down Full Moon current through your hands. As you massage, visualize cool silver light flooding the body, soothing inflammation, easing pain, aligning systems.
Hands-Over or Distance: No massage needed. Hover hands over the area, or visualize from afar. The Full Moon travels easily across distance—focus on balance and saturation, not force.
This phase especially supports endocrine balance, sleep cycles, and nervous system regulation.
Malediction / Baneful Work
Let’s not pretend the Full Moon is all cupcakes and cuddles. People get cray-cray under this sky—lean into that if you must.
By now (if you’ve been working the cycle), you’ve:
Seeded at the New Moon (mind),
Fed at the Waxing (mind → body),
Now, at the Full, you fuse mind and body so your target can’t tell where paranoia ends and reality begins.
Working — Bread Poppet (Fusion Hex)
Mix basic bread dough (box mix is fine).
Work in black peppercorns, cayenne (I adore cayenne), and nasty garden weeds.
If you have personal concerns, knead them in. If not, burn a printed photo of the target to ash and knead the ash into the dough.
Shape a human form. Bake as instructed. Cool.
Now you’ve got a poppet that rises in their field the way bread rises in heat. Use it to bind, blister (prick with pins), gag (wrap the mouth), or melt (slow candle-drip). The Full Moon’s “max volume” pushes the confusion to a critical echo: mind meets body and spirals.
(Obvious note: this is not for dinner. Don’t be gross.)
Witchlings
Full Moon = kitchen magic + joy. Bond, bake, and bless.
Deviously Delicious Full-Moon Chocolate Cupcakes
Ingredients
1 ½ cups unbleached all-purpose flour
¾ cup granulated sugar
½ tsp salt
1 tsp baking soda (fresh is best)
¼ cup unsweetened cocoa powder (raw cacao if you like)
1 tsp ground cinnamon
½ tsp cayenne (optional, but I love it)
1 tsp vanilla extract
½ tsp chocolate extract (or use more vanilla)
⅓ cup canola oil (coconut oil works too)
1 Tbsp white distilled vinegar
1 cup cold water
Directions
Preheat oven to 350°F. Line your cupcake pan.
In a bowl, whisk flour, sugar, salt, baking soda, cocoa, cinnamon, and cayenne.
Make a well; add vanilla, oil, vinegar, and water. Mix just to combine.
Fill liners and bake ~15 minutes, until a toothpick comes out clean.
Cool on a rack; frost—or dust with powdered sugar and top with fresh raspberries.
Play with extracts—raspberry, peppermint, orange, maple. If you tweak it, share your version with the coven!
As you bake, teach the kids to speak blessings into the batter: confidence for school, calm for sleepovers, bravery for tryouts. Let them charge each cupcake with one word written on a tiny flag.
Moon-High Divination
If you’re a reader, the Full Moon is chef’s kiss.
Take your deck, bones, runes, or scrying bowl outside.
Let moonlight hit your tools for a minute.
Read with the intention: “Reveal what is at full brightness now.”
You’ll get fewer whispers and more direct signals. Be ready.
Yes, the Full Moon is extra. She’s the influencer of the sky: bright, dramatic, and impossible to ignore. But if you align with her—grounded, focused, and ready—she will amplify your work like nothing else.
Celebrate your love. Launch your wealth grid. Wear your zap ring. Flood a body with healing silver. Or, if necessary, bake a body of bread and let the tide press your curse into bone.
Because at the Full Moon, magic doesn’t whisper; it rings. Make sure it sings your song.
